Ingredients:
- Pudina (mint) leaves - 3 bunches
- Nuvvulu (Seasame seeds) - 3tbsp
- Dhaniyalu (Coriander seeds) - 1tbsp
- Jeelakarra (cumin seeds)-1tsp
- Garlic - 6 to 8 flakes
- Endu mirchi (Red chillies) -5
- Chintapandu (tamarind) - 1 tbsp
- Minapappu (urad dal/black gram) - 1tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil - 3tbsp
- Coriander leaves - 2tbsp
Method:
- Soak Chintapandu/Tamarind in 5tbsp of water for 30minutes.
- Wash Pudina/Mint leaves and coriander leaves thoroughly and keep aside.
- Take a pan. Fry Nuvvulu/Seasame seeds for 10minuteswithout oil in low flame and keep aside.
- In the same pan fry Jeelakarra/cumin seeds, Dhaniyalu/Coriander seeds, 4-Endumirchi/Redchillies and Garlic flakes without oil in low flame for 5 to 6 minutes and keep aside.
- Now heat 2tbsp oil in a pan. Add Pudina/mint and coriander leaves and fry for 10 to 15minutes and keep aside.
- Grind all the above ingredients(pudina leaves,nuvvulu,jeelakarra,dhaniyalu,red chillies and garlic flakes with chintapandu/tamarind rasam and salt.
- Heat remaining oil in a pan. Add minapappu/urad dal and 1 red chilli and add it to the above grinded mixture.
- Yummy yummy pudina chutney ready :)
