Cauliflower Kurma


Ingredients:
  • Cauliflower florets - 3 cups
  • Onion - 1 large
  • Green Chillies -2
  • Dry Coconut Powder - 1/2cup
  • Tomato - 1 large finely chopped
  • Ginger Garlic paste - 1tbsp
  • Coriander powder - 1tbsp
  • Red Chilli powder - 1tbsp 
  • Pepper Powder - 1/2tsp
  • Turmeric powder- 1/4tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil - 3tbsp
Method:
  • For Ground Paste : Grind onion, green chillies, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, coconut powder to a fine smooth paste.
  • Chop tomatoes finely and keep aside.
  • Boil Cauliflower florets in hot water with a pinch of salt for 5minutes. Drain water and keep florets aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan.  Add the ground paste and fry until the paste turns golden brown.
  • Add red chilli powder, salt, coriander powder, pepper powder and chopped tomatoes and fry for 10minutes.
  • Now add Cauliflower florets and cook until the cauliflower are tender or well cooked.
  • Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve hot.
