Paneer Vegetable Fried Rice


What you need:
  • 2 cups Rice/Basmati Rice 
  • 4 cups water
  • Paneer - 100gms cut into cubes
  • 1 Onion chop into cubes
  • 1 Capsicum cut into cubes
  • 1 Carrot cut into cubes
  • 1 cup fresh Green Peas
  • 2 Green Chillies cut in lengthwise
  • 1tbsp Chickpeas soak in water for 1 hour(optional)
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil - 3tbsp
Method To Cook:
  • Cook Rice along with Carrots, Green peas, Chickpeas and salt. ( For 2cups of rice use 4 cups of water)
  • Allow the rice to cool and keep aside
  • Now Heat Oil in a pan. Add onions, green chillies and fry for 5 minutes.
  • Add Paneer cubes and fry till onions and paneer turns golden brown.
  • Now add garam masala, pepper powder and salt.
  • Add Capsicum and fry for 5minutes.
  • Now add cooked rice and mix it well and fry for 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Serve hot with Chilli Tomato Ketchup
