Egg Fry Recipe



Ingredients:
  • Eggs - 4
  • Onions - 2 finely chopped lengthwise
  • Green Chillies - 2 chopped
  • Curry leaves/karvepaaku- 2stems
  • Ginger Garlic Paste - 1tbsp
  • Red chilli powder - 1 tbsp
  • Dhaniya Powder - 1tsp
  • Avalu/Mustard seeds- 1tsp
  • Jeelakarra/Cumin seeds - 1tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Oil - 4tbsp
  • Coriander leaves chopped for garnishing - 2tbsp
  • Salt to taste
Method:
  • Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds. Allow it to splutter.
  • Add green chillies, chopped onions, turmeric powder and fry for 10minutes.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and fry for 10minutes or until the onions turn golden brown.
  • Add red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt.
  • Now beat the eggs into the pan and close the lid and allow it to cook for 10minutes in low flame.
  • Now flip it otherside and fry for more 10minutes.
  • Finally garnish it with coriander leaves and serve hot.
