Ingredients:
- Boiled rice - 1 bowl
- Lemon Juice - 2 tbsp or 1 lemon
- Curry leaves/ karvepaaku - 2stems chopped
- Green Chillies - 3 sliced lengthwise
- Red chillies - 1
- Peanuts/pallilu- 2tbsp
- Cashewnuts- 6
- Garlic - 4 flakes chopped
- Avalu/mustard seeds - 1tsp
- Jeelakarra/cumin seeds- 1tsp
- Minapappu/urad dal - 1tsp
- Senaga pappu/chana dal - tsp
- Turmeric powder/ pasupu- 1tsp
- Oil - 3tbsp
- Salt to taste
Method:
- Mix boiled rice, lemon juice and salt and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and allow it to splutter.
- Add red chillies, peanuts and fry for 5minutes.
- Now add urad dal, chana dal, green chillies and garlic and fry for 5mintues.
- Add cashewnuts and fry for 1minute.
- Finally add rice and fry for few minutes.
- Serve hot with coconut chutney.
