Spicy Chicken Curry

I want to dedicate this recipe to Team India  for World Cup Victory...
Congratulations Team India !!!!!!!!!!!!!



Ingredients:
  • Chicken - 500gms
  • Onion - 1 big cut into cubes
  • Tomatoes - 3
  • Ginger Garlic Paste - 2tbsp
  • Gasagasalu/Poppy Seeds - 1tbsp
  • Red Chilli Powder - 2tbsp
  • Pepper Powder - 1/2tbsp
  • Turmeric Powder - 1tsp
  • Garam Masala a pinch
  • Coriander/Dhaniya Powder - 1tsp
  • Coriander Leaves Chopped - 2tbsp
  • Mint/Pudina Leaves - 2tbsp
  • Menthi aaku/Fenugreek leaves- 2tbsp
  • Elachi - 2
  • Cloves/lavanga -2
  • Dalchini - 1 small stick
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil- 4tbsp
Method:
  • Mix well Chicken,1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, dhaniya powder, pepper powder, salt and marinate it for 1hour in deep freezer.
  • For Ground Paste: Grind Onion, Gasagasalu and 1tbsp of ginger garlic paste to a smooth paste and keep it aside.
  • Grind Tomatoes to a fine smooth paste and keep it aside.
  • Heat Oil in a pan. Add elachi, lavangalu and dalchini and fry for 1 minute.
  • Add ground paste i.e onion paste and fry until paste turns golden brown color.
  • Add coriander leaves, mint leaves and menthi aaku/fenugreek leaves and fry for 2minutes.
  • Add tomato paste and fry for 10 minutes.
  • Now add marinated chicken and fry for 5minutes in high flame.
  • Now simmer the flame and add 2 cups of water and mix well the chicken and close it with lid.
  • Cook it for 20minutes, stir in between.
  • Yummy Spicy Chicken Curry is ready :) 
  • This goes well with rice and chapatis.
