Ingredients:
- Tomatoes - 4 chopped
- Garlic - 8 flakes
- Curry leaves/karvepaaku- 1stem
- Bellam/jaggery - 1tsp
- Avalu/mustard seeds - 1tsp
- Red chilli powder - 2tsp
- Dhaniya/coriander powder - 1tsp
- Godma pindi/aata or rice flour(biyampindi) - 1tsp
- Oil - 1tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Water - 1cup
- Coriande leaves chopped - 2tbsp
- Heat oil in a pan. Add avalu and allow it to splutter.
- Add garlic flakes, curry leaves and fry for 2minutes.
- Now turn off the stove and add red chilli powder, dhaniya powder and Aata or rice flour.
- Turn on the stove and add tomatoes and fry for 5mintues and add water, salt, jaggery.
- Allow it to boil for 5minutes in full flame.
- Then put in a low flame and fry until the tomatoes are well cooked or until you get thick gravy.
- Finally garnish it with coriander leaves
