Ingredients:
- Fresh Grated Coconut - 2cups
- Roasted Peanuts(pallilu) - 1/2cup
- Green Chillies - 3
- Tamarind - 1tsp soaked in water
- Garlic - 2 flakes
- Curry leaves - 1stem
- Avalu/Mustard seeds - 1tsp
- Minapappu/Urad dal - 1tsp
- Dried Red Chillies - 2
- Oil - 1tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Coriander leaves - 1tbsp
Method:
- Heat 1/2 tsp of oil in a pan. Add green chillies and fry for 5minutes.
- Grind grated coconut, peanuts, green chillies, tamarind, garlic, salt with little water to a fine paste.
- Now heat oil in the same pan add mustard seeds, minapappu/urad dal, and red chillies and fry for 5minutes. Add curry leaves and turn off the stove.
- Add this tadka to grinded mixture and mix well.
- Garnish with Coriander leaves and serve with Idli or Dosa.
