Ingredients:
- Fresh Grated Coconut - 2cups
- 1/2 bunch of Coriander leaves chopped
- Green Chillies - 2
- A pinch of tamarind or 1/2tsp lemon juice
- Garlic - 2 flakes
- Curry leaves - 1stem
- Avalu/Mustard seeds - 1tsp
- Minapappu/Urad dal - 1tsp
- Red Chillies - 2
- Oil - 1tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Heat 1/2 tsp of oil in a pan. Add green chillies and fry for 5minutes.
- Grind grated coconut, green chillies, tamarind, coriander leaves, garlic, salt with little water till it becomes smooth paste.
- Now heat oil in the same pan add mustard seeds, minapappu/urad dal, and red chillies and fry for 5minutes. Add curry leaves and turn off the stove.
- Add this tadka to grinded mixture and mix well.
- Serve with Idli or Dosa.
