Ingredients:
- Fresh Grated Coconut - 1 cup
- Putnalu/ roasted gram dal - 1/3cup
- Green Chillies - 2 to 3
- Garlic - 2 flakes
- Chintapandu/Tamarind - 1tsp soaked in water
- Curry Leaves/Karveepaku - 2 sprigs
- Avalu/Mustard seeds - 1tsp
- Minapappu/Urad dal - 1tsp
- Dried Red Chillies - 2
- Oil - 1tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Grind grated coconut, putnalu, green chillies, tamarind, garlic, salt with little water to a fine paste.
- Now heat oil in the same pan add mustard seeds, minapappu/urad dal, and red chillies and fry for 5minutes. Add curry leaves and turn off the stove.
- Add this tadka to grinded mixture and mix well.
- Garnish with Coriander leaves and serve with Idli or Dosa or Pongal.
