What You Need :
- Dondakaya/Tindoora - 250gms chop finely
- Carrot - 1 grated
- Onion - 1 chop finely
- Karvepaaku/Curry Leaves - 2 sprigs
- Coriander leaves - 2tbsp for garnishing
- Garlic - 6 flakes
- Green Chillies- 2 chop finely
- Senaga Pappu(Chana dal)- 1tbsp
- Avalu/mustard seeds - 1/2tsp
- Jeelakarra/Cumin seeds - 1/2tsp
- Red Chilli powder - 1tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil - 3tbsp
How to Cook:
- Heat 1tbsp of oil in a pan. Add Chopped Dondakaya/tindoora and fry for 10minutes and keep aside.
- In the same pan heat remaining oil. Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, senaga pappu and allow it to splutter.
- Once spluttering starts add green chillies, onions, curry leaves, garlic and saute for 5minutes or till onion turns golden color.
- Add grated carrot, mix well and fry for 10minutes.
- Now add dondakaya/tindoora, mix well and fry until the carrot and tindoora is well cooked.
- Add Red Chilli powder and salt and mix well.
- Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice
