What you need:
- 2 cups Rice/Basmati Rice
- 4 cups water
- Paneer - 100gms cut into cubes
- 1 Onion chop into cubes
- 1 Capsicum cut into cubes
- 1 Carrot cut into cubes
- 1 cup fresh Green Peas
- 2 Green Chillies cut in lengthwise
- 1tbsp Chickpeas soak in water for 1 hour(optional)
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala powder
- Salt to taste
- Oil - 3tbsp
- Cook Rice along with Carrots, Green peas, Chickpeas and salt. ( For 2cups of rice use 4 cups of water)
- Allow the rice to cool and keep aside
- Now Heat Oil in a pan. Add onions, green chillies and fry for 5 minutes.
- Add Paneer cubes and fry till onions and paneer turns golden brown.
- Now add garam masala, pepper powder and salt.
- Add Capsicum and fry for 5minutes.
- Now add cooked rice and mix it well and fry for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Serve hot with Chilli Tomato Ketchup
